Today I'm going to show you my first completed mini of 2012. It's a chipboard mini made from a kit I'll be offering on Etsy. When I get it up I'll add a link to the comments of this post. so, here are the pics!
I inked all the pages and elements with tea dye distress ink...the frame is a cardstock covered chipboard frame...Prima flowers, butterfly is cut using a Martha Steward punch....design paper is Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden. The vintage image was printed off of my computer.
Die cut frame that showcases a vintage image I printed out. This page folds up for extra room for pictures or journaling.
I made a little pocket with some vintage lace to hold the hand stamped and watercolored tags (I'll be doing a tutorial on this soon) the page on the right features a diecut frame I stamped and watercolored (frame set available in my store includes 30 frames) Prima flowers and Prima bling. The little flower in the center of the big flower is from I Am Roses, and was kissed with a little distress ink to knock down the brightness of the flower.
The pearls at the bottom of the pocket help keep the tags from slipping through.
Watercolored with Tattered Angels and Distress ink.
The diecut butterfly acts as a pocket for the handstamped tags. I dirtied up the doily with the distress ink.
Vintage garment pins attach the charms to the ribbon.
Pretty envelope for memorabilia and extra pictures and journaling.
Prima Pearls and a flowered topped butterfly.
Prima flower that I made sparkly with mica powder and satin varnish. I have a tutorial on this on my youtube channel. Recollections bling I got in a RAK from Lacee.
Loooove chunky books!
Well that's it! Hopefully I can get a video up showing this album and the kit I'll be listing. These mini's are so fun....love the shape...
