Tis the season for gift giving, but there are always those on your list that would prefer a gift card or cash. To me it's boring, but to each his own! Anyway, I try to make the presentation as pretty as I can, so this is what I made.
Please take a peek at my Zibbet shop http://www.zibbet.com/shabbybeautiful
I'm not a huge fan of the traditional bright green and red "Christmas" colors, so I went with softer greens and pink.
The top edge of short library pocket has been punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I used the same punch on a piece of scrap design paper and adhered that to the front edge of the pocket.
I made a tag and stamped it with a Something Tattered stamp and tied it with pretty Olive seem Binding.
The flower is made from 4 flowers cut from a Fiskars Fuse flower die with my eBosser, some bling and a button. For my embellishments I like to use Crafters choice The Ultimate Glue. I've haven't lost an embellishment yet when using this. Layered under the vintage image is a piece of lace that I inked up with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. (All of the inking is done with that color)
I added a butterfly and a little bling and that's about it!
Thanks for Peeking and feel free to visit my blog
This is beautiful! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMarry Christmas, Misty! These pockets are so pretty. I think I will make up several and keep them on hand to use for all my gift card recipients. I think they will come in handy for Christmas and Birthdays, through out the up coming year. Hugs & Blessings, Laura
