Shabby chic board book continued

Hello Friends! I'm back with another page of my board book mini. I used my eBosser to cut out the large and small chipboard keys. I painted and distressed them with Martha Stewart metallic paint (From Home Depot! lol)
I used the large key as a pocket and the small one as a charm.

I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the other "pocket" I am a little compulsive about saving alllllll my scraps, and this is why!
I layered a vintage image on one of my small Victorian mats and tucked it and a stamped tag into the pocket.

I adheared the large chipboard key at the top and bottom to make a pocket....love thismlittle bird image!

The left mat was stamped and inked.

Thanks so much for peeking and make sure to check back for more pages of this little mini.

New Leather tote to carry my Filofax and every day items

Hi Friends! I don't know if you all have noticed, but the simple leather tote is a super hot item right now, and why wouldn't it be? They are beautiful and functional, and if you pick the right one, it can last a lifetime. I searched high and low for such a bag and was thrilled to stumble upon Koch Leather. I contacted them through Facebook, told them what I wanted and am thrilled with what I got! It truly is beautiful and will get even more so with age.

The below picture is my bag pictured on their site. (I stole the picture...hope they don't mind)

The tote measures 15 x 13 x 5.5 inches. The handles are approx 10 inches from the top of the bag. Mine is dark brown, but you can order it in couple of different colors. I love the inside pocket for your phone, keys etc (again, this is their picture)

As you can see this is a roomy bag without being obnoxiously large.
Below is my tote filled with my Boston A5 Filofax, Personal Ocher Malden Filofax, pen case, sunglass case and water bottle. There is still a ton of room.

....and did I mention that it's gorgeous? Very classy, go anywhere tote and is a bargain at $140.00!

You can reach them through their Facebook page here
 https://www.facebook.com/kochleather
They have a store tab if you want one of your own.
Tell them I sent ya (I don't get anything...just want them to know lol)

Craftwell Design Team Project: Shabby Valentine's Day card

Hello Friends! I have a sweet little Valentine to share with you today.
The base of the card is one of my Large Fancy mats folded in half.

There is a lot of layering in this simple card, starting with an inked up heart doily. I used my eBosser to cut and emboss the mat, and to cut out the pretty gold key.  I then inked the mat  with Distress Ink.
I added flowers, a vintage Valentine image and some Prima bling to add some sparkle.

Thanks for peeking! I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Pretty Pansy Board book mini scrapbook album

 Hello Friends!
I don't know about you, but I am soooo over this winter weather and looking forward to Spring. With that in mind I have sweet Spring mini to share.
This started as a plain little board book. http://www.zibbet.com/shabbybeautiful/artwork?artworkId=290927#  I added design paper, mats, images and embellishments that I cut with my eBosser. I'll show more pictures through the week, so please check back :)

I love to have tags and ribbons peeking out of the tops and sides of my mini's...adds a bit of whimsy!

The rose is from my purple set  http://www.zibbet.com/shabbybeautiful/artwork?artworkId=1062431 and I've layered a hydrangea petal behind it to look like leaves.

Everything is inked with Distress Ink in Brown Corduroy.

I absolutely love vintage images. I think it looks so sweet matted with one of my small mats.
I've added a seam binding closure to hold all the goodies in. Stop back to get a peek at the inside :)

Also, I'll be placing a stamp order on Thursday , so take a peek and get your order in if there's something you'd like :)
