Hello! I'm sure you have all heard the buzz about Tim Holtz new Distress Markers. They come in a set of 37 markers...all the colors we love! since the inks are water activated, think of all the blending techniques and watercoloring you could do...can't wait to get my hot little hands on them!
I ordered 9 sets at the introductory price, so I'm passing the savings onto you. The set's will retail for $114.99, but I'm offering the first 9 sets for $100.00 + shipping. To hold your set I'll need a $65.00 deposit, then I'll invoice you when they come in for the remaining $35.00 + shipping. These will ship to me sometime in February
These come in a plastic container.....but I'm thinking that if you don't really care about the container, I may be able to take them out and ship them in a small flat rate box for $5.35 in the us and $16.75 international....not sure how much shipping will be with the canister. I'll just have to wait and see when they get here.
Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have! Thanks so much! Misty
Pay here to put down your $65.00 deposit. I will bill you the remaining 35.00 =+ actual shipping when the come in.

I'm just now testing the waters of coloring with alcohal markers. I know, I am way behind the trend lol, but now I'm jumping in. There's a new line of markers called Spectrum Noir. They are much less expensive than the Copics and I like them so far. I've never used the Copics, so I can't compare the 2....maybe I'll go and pick a couple up and try them out and see. Anyway, the Spectrum Noirs come 6 to a pack for $11.99! Only $2.00 a marker! Right now, I'm selling the full set of 72 markers for $99.99 + $12.00 shipping.
Below are a couple of attempts at coloring...keep in mind that I've never done this before lol....don't judge the markers by my sad sample! I also added some sparkle to the image with mica powder. I have a video tutorial on how to use my mica powder on youtube.

Turn around may be 1.5 to 2 weeks.....probaly sooner, but I want you to be prepared! :)
Us customers 99.99 + $12.00 shipping

Canada and Mexico customers $99.99 + 27.95 shipping

Everywhere else $99.99 + $45.50 shipping

Mini album pocket or toilet paper roll? Both!

I went in the bathroom to brush my teeth and out of the corner of my eye I saw an empty toilet paper roll that had not quite made it into the trash can. So I picked it up and went to throw it away and thought hmmmm, maybe I'll try a toilet paper roll mini. Yes, I know that that trend has been over for quite a while, but I've never made one. So I thought, what the heck?
I went up to my studio and started to prep my rolls (when I get my voice back I'm going to do a video tutorial) Basically I squished the roll down, wet the inside with a spray bottle along the creases, sprayed with Tattered Angels Suede Glimmer Mist, then ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing plate, then dried them with my heat gun.
Now I had tried to run it through both sides of the tube to get the embossing on each side...but when you do that, you end up flattening the embossing on one side. I wasn't really upset by this, but the more I looked at the prepped pieces, the more I kept thinking these would make great pockets.
So long story short...no mini, just fun pockets!

You could cut a decorative notch in the middle, or cut a pretty edge above the top.
If the idea of using a toilet paper tube is a little icky to you lol, the same can be done with a paper towel tube. Check back later for a link to my tutorial.

Today I was playing with a new envelope die I bought several months ago and came up with this little mini. I hope you enjoy the pics! A kit with 12 envelopes and 12 tags is available here http://www.etsy.com/listing/90141839/shabby-chic-business-coin-envelopes-and if you're interested.
I'd like to post a video, but I'm sick and have completely lost my voice! LOL.....My boys think it's super funny that I can't talk...rotten kids! Anyway, when I get my voice back I'll get one up.
