 Hello Friends!
Here are a few things I made with the new Free digital collage sheet! Just Subscribe (if you're not sure how to subsribe you can find out here http://shabbybeautiful.blogspot.com/2012/09/new-free-shabby-chic-collage-sheet.html )  and follow my blog...then email me at kmchristensen1@gmail.com to get on the list. After that, you will automatically receive your free digi in your email when they come out. (Once a new digi is out, the old ones are no longer available for free, but can be purchased in my store very inexpensively)

Here's a sweet little card made using the smallest size image on the sheet (there are 2 different sizes) I just cut it out and used my corner rounder, then inked it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Really easy!

This is the bigger sized image matted on a little Fancy mat. This can be used as a tag in a mini, as a card front, or a little gigt card. How cute would this be hanging from a ribbon on a bottle of wine as a hostess gift?

This is one of my scalloped notecards that I LOVE! I use these in my minis all the time and they also make cute little gift cards.
I'm offering my blog followers a bundle that includes 48 pieces for $19.99 shipped to the US.
This set includes:
12 (4 each of the 3 colors) blank cards
12 little fancy mats
12 Victorian mats (the mat that's on the card in the first pic)
12 scalloped notecards
This can be purchased through the Paypal link below.

Sweet little altered slide folder

 Hello Friends!
Woke this morning and did this little project...after a gallon of coffee of course! This was really fun, just flew by the seat of my pants.

I started with a plain chipboard slide folder. These are super thick and hold up to a lot of painting and embellishing. I should've taken a picture of how thick they are...they are a double thickness of chipboard...

Anyway, I started by cutting the little dividing bar out of the middle to make 1 recessed area. Just used a craft knife.

Next I painted both sides with Martha Stewart Metallic paint (from home depot)
I used a staz on black inkpad to stamp the front and distress the edges. I just simply ran the edges across the ink pad.

The bats are painted with the same metallic paint in a different color....then I just embellished! Really quick and fun. A favorite Halloween picture can go in the recessed slide area.
These are great to display standing up because they are so sturdy.
You can purchase sets of 5 in my store if you're interested!
