I have a very simple project for you today for the Craftwell Design Team (I'm almost embarrassed making a whole blog post on it because it's so easy)
As some of you may know, I've become a little obsessed with my planner! However, I can't find any sticky notes that I love. I'm not really into the cutesy, and I'm not a fan of plain, so I decided to make my own. I originally bought a re-positionable Elmers glue stick to make these, but of course I couldn't find it when I needed it! Story of my life lately lol. I did know where my Tombow Mono Multi glue was, so I used that and it worked just fine.
Please take a peek at my Zibbet shop http://www.zibbet.com/shabbybeautiful
I use my Personal Holborn Filofax as a wallet. Sometimes the sections are a little small to make notations beyond dates and times. This is where I like to use the sticky notes. I used my eBosser and Fiskars Fuse die to cut the shape. It's a generous size, but still fits the page.
These would make a great present for the person that has everything. I try to give presents that can be used and not take up place in a closet....stationary is almost always appreciated!
I stamped each sheet with one of my beautiful Something Tattered stamps.
(Brushed Corduroy Distress ink. This ink gives a soft look...if you want a crisper look I would suggest a Memento Stamp pad. I think the one I like is called cocoa or chocolate...or some other yummy name :)
As I said, these are very easy:
1. Cut your shape out of copy paper
2. Stamp or decorate each sheet
3. Put a strip of glue at the top of the sheet (I used my finger to flatten the glue line)
If you use the Tombow, make sure wait for the glue to dry so that it become re-positionable )
4. Stack and use
Thanks so much for peeking.
